Sachi Kanzaki, Clinical Counseling Intern

Sachi has an associate degree in Early Child Education, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Oregon State University, and a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University, where she is pursuing her second master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Sachi is currently a Senior Director of Preschool Programming with over 28 years of experience in early childcare education, working with children and diverse families. Apart from her daily Senior Director responsibilities, Sachi serves clients with various mental health concerns in Biblical Counseling Ministry and looks forward to working with adolescents, women, couples, and the elderly. With her teaching and counseling background, Sachi uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in her session to help the client establish healthy habits and routines. She encourages and coaches her clients to learn the techniques and skills toward wholeness.

In her free time, Sachi plays the piano, serves on the worship team, and enjoys ballet, dancing, walking, and water sports.
