Joy received her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2023. She brings over ten years of experience in the medical field in New York City and more than two decades working within Prince George’s County Public Schools. Joy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Grand Canyon University in 2018.
Her clinical focus includes working with adults and couples navigating depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges, including premarital and marital counseling. Joy integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a faith-centered perspective, helping clients find healing, peace, and renewed purpose through both clinical insight and spiritual grounding.
Joy believes that true restoration begins where faith and healing intersect, and joy and serenity await on the other side of pain. Her favorite quote, “Pain is universal,” serves as a reminder that while each person’s journey is unique, we are all connected through shared human experiences.
“I look forward to walking with you to find your footing, your path, or a new journey for your life.”
