Joe Kopasek
Before becoming a counselor, Joe Kopasek spent many years as a professional DJ in the Mid-Atlantic region, performing at nightclubs and large events. During that season of his life, he faced personal challenges as substance use began to take a toll. Through a profound spiritual awakening and a steadfast commitment to recovery, Joe discovered a renewed sense of purpose and direction.

Now with more than a decade of sobriety, Joe holds degrees in Biblical Studies and Chemical Dependency, as well as a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is passionate about walking alongside individuals navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

Joe’s approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and a deep understanding of the recovery process. He strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their struggles, rediscover hope, and move toward lasting healing and personal growth.

In addition to his work with addiction recovery, Joe enjoys helping adults, couples, families, and individuals aged 17 and above as they pursue emotional wellness and meaningful change in their lives.
