Charniece was born in Georgia but has spent most of her life in Maryland, proudly referring to herself as a “Certified Marylander.” She is a Clinical Counseling Intern pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University.

Charniece is passionate about serving marginalized and minority communities and supporting individuals as they navigate life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and spiritual concerns. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to provide compassionate, client-centered care. She strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Charniece believes every individual has the capacity for healing and personal growth when supported by a strong therapeutic relationship. She is committed to honoring each client’s unique cultural identity, personal values, and faith throughout the counseling process. Her goal is to foster a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore difficult emotions, develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and experience lasting emotional wellness while creating a more fulfilling life.

Outside of counseling, Charniece enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, spending time at the beach, reading, and listening to music.
